Dating In Spite Of A Busy Work
Schedule
Are you trying to figure out how to date if you are
exhausted after work, returning home from 7-8 pm at night plus
end up working all or part of a Saturday? The truth of the
matter is that many people have schedules like this. How does
this leave time for a social life?
If you are browsing online dating sites, you will see some
people saying they are very busy with work or have little free
time due to responsibilities plus time with their kids. You can
add this in to your own profile and it actually can be a point
of attraction rather than a drawback!
It's best to start with e-mails anyway so if you do feel a
connection with someone after some e-mails then the next step
may be talking on the phone or just deciding to meet for a
coffee. A Saturday night may be the best time for each of you
if you do work on Saturdays and Sunday is a free day. (Of
course a "free" day probably means cleaning the kitchen floor,
redecorating the den etc).
Don't be discouraged about getting yourself out there if you
have a busy schedule. It is very common today and won't be a
liability for many people who are juggling so many things in
their lives.
The first step is to see if you feel a connection with the
person and if you have things in common. If that is there as a
base, then meeting can be a nice break for both of you from
your hectic, busy schedules plus also a potential door to a
life outside of work.
A life beyond work is important for your own happiness, but
it also has a beneficial effect on family life. If you have
kids, you'll be less prone to living your life through them and
being overly involved in their lives, plus you'll be showing
them it's possible to move on which is a wonderful life
lesson.
If you are single, you'll get out of the routine you have.
This can be a new way to add flexibility into your
schedule.
Realizing that others have many life responsibilities they
need to fulfill should help you to
feel comfortable with getting yourself out there. You don't
have to wait till the time is perfect to start dating now.
There is no "perfect" time since it always seems that life
replaces one emergency with another.
